Move Platform Terms of Service

Use of Move is also subject to our Acceptable Use Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The AUP describes the conduct, content, and uses that are not allowed on the platform — including for events, spaces, calendars, messaging, and payments. A violation of the AUP is a violation of these Terms.

Application of Terms

These Terms of Service apply to all services provided by Move and any alternative names used on our domain or applications, including but not limited to:

Any reference to "Move," "we," "us," or "our" in these terms includes all variations of our name listed above.

1. The Services

Move's websites and domains, including m0veapp.com and m0ve.app, and all associated webpages, variants, subdomains, country-level domain variants and subparts (collectively, our "Site"), along with all services available through the Site or otherwise provided by us (including our APIs), and all mobile, desktop, and tablet applications released by Move, M0VE App, or 9th Designs (collectively, our "Services") are owned and operated by 9th Designs, LLC, with its principal place of business in Chicago, IL.

2. Platform Nature & Limitations

Move operates as an open marketplace platform that facilitates connections between event organizers, ticket sellers, and attendees. The platform enables:

Calendar management and event organization
Event ticket sales and registration
Group membership management
Content sharing and community engagement

3. Marketplace Disclaimer

Move functions solely as a marketplace and intermediary platform. We do not:

Take ownership of or responsibility for any events listed on our platform
Guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of listed events
Verify the accuracy of event descriptions or organizer credentials
Accept liability for the actions or inactions of organizers or attendees
Guarantee admission to any event
Take responsibility for event cancellations or changes

4. Payment Processing & Financial Liability

4.1. Payment Processing

Move acts solely as a payment processing intermediary. When you make a purchase through our platform:

Your payment is processed through our third-party payment processor
Move holds no liability for authorized charges processed through the platform
All sales are final between you and the event organizer
Refunds are at the sole discretion of event organizers
Move does not guarantee refunds for any reason

4.2. Liability Limitations

Move accepts no liability for:

Unauthorized transactions (contact your payment provider)
Disputes between organizers and attendees
Quality of events or services provided
Financial losses related to cancelled or modified events
Subscription billing disputes between groups and members

5. Intellectual Property

The Move platform, including all associated intellectual property, is owned by 9th Designs, LLC. Users retain ownership of their content while granting Move a license to display and distribute it through our Services.

6. Platform Rules & Prohibited Uses

Users agree not to:

Violate any laws or regulations
Infringe on others' intellectual property rights
Post false or misleading information
Attempt to circumvent platform fees
Engage in unauthorized reselling of tickets
Create fake events or scam listings
Harass other users or abuse the platform

Move has zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users. We review reports within 24 hours and remove content and accounts that violate these terms.

7. Account Termination

Move reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

Violate these terms
Engage in fraudulent activity
Pose a risk to other users
Misuse the platform

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Move shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
Lost profits or revenue
Data loss or corruption
Service interruptions or errors
Third-party actions or content
Disputes between users
Financial losses related to events or transactions

9. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold Move harmless from any claims arising from:

Their use of the platform
Content they post
Events they organize or attend
Transactions they process
Violations of these terms

10. Changes to Terms

Move reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.

11. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
